IIT Madras and IBM have announced a partnership for online BSc degree programs and expanded selected courses on the National Technology Advanced Learning (NPDEL) site. IBM experts will offer a course in Quantum Computing on the NPDEL platform and help students present the current perspective of the industry with selected NPTEL courses such as Data Science and Artificial Intelligence along with technical inputs.
Professor Andrew Thankaraj, NPTEL, IIT Madras, "IITs and IIScs interact with a large number of students through the NPTEL site. NPTEL currently has more than 4,000 fields of engineering, arts, business, science and management across the country. It enables NPTEL to bring business approach with companies to offer rich technology curriculum and allied courses, NPTEL provides sessions on various technologies and career guidance to the students. We partner with IBM on this launch initiative pleased to do.
